What to expect
We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Frontline a great one! Keep reading for more information on what you can expect.
Frontline meets every weekend on Sundays at August-Sussdorf Strasse 8 in Ramstein 66877 (across from Aldi) at:
9am // 11am // 5pm
What is a frontline church service like?
Services begin with a band leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music, one of our pastors will come out to welcome you, say a prayer and introduce you to our teaching pastor who will share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus. Once he is finished he will pray and invite the band to lead a final song, before someone else shares announcements and dismisses you. People typically sit during the message, and stand during the music, but we want you to be yourself and worship freely.
What's the culture like at frontline?
No matter who you are, where you come from, or where you're at spiritually, you’re welcome here. On any given Sunday we have both chaplains and atheists in our gathering. Sunday’s at Frontline are casual, energetic and real. Jeans and a T-shirt are totally normal but if you like to dress up more that's awesome, too. We project scripture onto screens, but you’re welcome to bring a Bible if you want. If you don’t have one, feel free to take one of ours as a gift.
This diverse English-speaking church is made up of Americans, Germans, and people representing many nationalities, ethnicities, and ages. We have many single young adults, as well as a plethora of families with kids of all ages, at each of our services. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.
What about my kids?
Kids and families are a huge part of Frontline, and that's why we want to make sure your kids have a blast learning about Jesus every weekend! School-age kids ministry is currently offered at our two morning services (9am and 11am) for kids age four through third grade. During each service your kids will have fun singing songs, playing games, doing crafts, and experiencing God in an interactive and safe environment.
Our nursery is also available during our two morning services (9am and 11am) where our trained team of staff and volunteers will love on your little ones ages 0 to 3 while you hear a powerful, relevant message in a distraction-free atmosphere.
What about covid regulations?
Frontline cares deeply about your safety as well as our reputation in Germany. We are in compliance to all German regulations including registrations for contact tracing, social distancing, sanitization measures, and the wearing of masks throughout the length of service. Recent regulations prohibit congregational singing, however our reduced band has taken the necessary extra precautions to lead the church in song each weekend. As regulations shift and change, we will continually update our concept, and announce relevant information from the stage.
