WHAT IS A FRONTLINE CHURCH SERVICE LIKE?

Our services typically run seventy-five minutes.

Services normally begin with one of our pastors providing a brief welcome and orientation.  Next our band will lead the church in song. You're welcome to sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable (sit quietly, raise your hands, dance...). After a prayer we usually invite people to greet one another (don't worry we won't make newcomers raise their hands). We'll lead you in a couple of announcements before one of our pastors shares a hopeful and practical message from the Bible! During the message it's pretty common to hear people laugh, shout "amen", or even cry. Be yourself! We always talk about Jesus and how He can and wants to change our world. We'll throw scripture up on the screen, but you're also more than welcome to bring your Bible or take one of ours. We love God's Word! Finally, we'll close the service with a time of prayer and musical worship before dismissing you.

What's the culture like at frontline?

Sunday’s with us are casual, real, and full of hopeWe strive to make services "accessible" -easy to understand, and addressing real needs. We believe that nobody should feel like an outlier, but receive a warm and sincere welcome, because people matter.

Jeans and a T-shirt are totally normal but if you like to dress up more, that’s awesome too.

We typically sing contemporary worship songs, lead by a full band (drums, guitars, keys...) but occasionally opt for an acoustic guitar and cajon. Authenticity trumps volume.

We believe our gatherings should be passionate, intelligible, communal, and applicable. Though we strive for excellence, we reject performance. Though we desire to make all people feel welcome we reject passivity or anonymity. We encourage people regardless of where they are at spiritually, to embrace challenge and pursue growing.

This diverse, English-speaking family is primarily made up of Americans, military, GS, contractors and their families. However many Germans and internationals also call this place home. Each week we welcome a plethora of families with kids of all ages, as well as many singles, young adults, those “young at heart”, and couples in various stages of life at each of our services.

We are a medium-sized church with an average of about 350 adults per service. But our heart is to be a connected community within close-knit and intentional small groups.

We are a transient community and therefore have new guests every single week. This is one reason why we are gospel-centric (committed to sharing the good news about Jesus every single gathering!) We also are emphatic about equipping Christ followers in practical next steps. Our mission at Frontline is to love God, love people and make disciples.

What about my kids?

Kids and families are a huge part of Frontline, and that's why we want to make sure your kids have a blast learning about Jesus every weekend! Children’s Ministry is offered at both services for kids from birth through fifth grade. During each service your kids will have fun singing songs, playing games, doing crafts, and experiencing God in an interactive and safe environment.

Our trained team of staff and volunteers love to care for, and teach your children. Each of our team members are back-ground checked and committed to your child's safety and enjoyment. We believe kids should have fun as they learn about the most joyful being in the universe! In the case that your child is struggling to settle in, you'll be notified.

Our nursery provides care for your little ones ages 0 to 3. We break into age appropriate classrooms (4 different nursery rooms) to ensure the right ratio of adults per child.

4 year olds through fifth graders meet in our adjacent buidling, "Calvary Hall." They also disperse into age appropriate groups and will spend time in musical
worship, crafts and games, and live teaching from the Bible together.

Lobby

In the event you don't feel comfortable checking your kids into their classrooms and your child happens to get fussy and/or needs more room to move around, we encourage you to sit in our lobby where you can still enjoy the service via live feed.

Check-in
When planning your visit, make sure to give yourself an extra 5-10 minutes to check your kids in before service starts.

getting to frontline

Parking

You know there are lots of Americans at Frontline by the large SUVs, Vans, and trucks in our lot. We've got plenty of room in our parking lot for your vehicle (no matter the size), including a few guest parking spaces by the side entrance. If the lot is full, or you feel more comfortable spreading out,  you are welcome to utilize the Aldi parking lot across the street.

Entrance

Next, you'll work your way towards an unassuming warehouse building. It may not be the prettiest on the outside, but inside is erupting with life! You are welcome to utilize either entrance. However, we request you use the main Entrance. if you arrive late (10 minutes or more). Inside you'll find a warm, inviting and energetic atmosphere with some bumping music! You'll be welcomed at the door with a smile by one our greeters, who can answer any questions you may have.
