WHAT IS A FRONTLINE CHURCH SERVICE LIKE?

Our services typically run an hour and ten minutes.

Services begin with a band leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. We have an excellent band that leads us through a few powerful and heartfelt worship songs, followed by a practical and hopeful message from the Bible by one of our pastors. During the message it's pretty common to hear people laugh, shout "amen", or even cry. We always talk about Jesus and how He can and wants to change our world. We'll throw scripture up on the screen, but you are also more than welcome to bring your Bible or take on of ours. We love this book! Finally we'll close the service with a time of prayer and musical worship! People typically sit during the message, and stand during the music, but we want you to be yourself and worship freely.

What's the culture like at frontline?

Sunday’s with us are casual, real, and full of hopeWe strive to make services "accessible" -easy to understand, and addressing real needs.

We believe that nobody should feel like an outlier, but receive a warm and sincere welcome, because people matter.

Jeans and a T-shirt are totally normal but if you like to dress up more that’s awesome, too. We project scripture onto screens, but you’re welcome to bring your Bible. If you don’t have one, please take one of ours as a gift.

We typically like the music a little loud, but authenticity trumps volume every time! We believe our gatherings should be passionate, intelligible, communal, and applicable. Though we strive for excellence, we reject performance. Though we welcome people regardless of where they are at spiritually, we unapologetically exalt Jesus -after all this is His church!

This diverse English-speaking family is primarily made up of American military members and contractors though we also consistent of Germans and internationals who call this place home. Each week we welcome a plethora of families with kids of all ages, as well as many single young adults, those “young at heart”, and couples in various life stages at each of our services.

What about my kids?

Kids and families are a huge part of Frontline, and that's why we want to make sure your kids have a blast learning about Jesus every weekend! School-age kids ministry is offered at our two morning services (9am and 11am) for kids age four through third grade. During each service your kids will have fun singing songs, playing games, doing crafts, and experiencing God in an interactive and safe environment.

Our nursery is also available during our two morning services (9am and 11am) where our trained team of staff and volunteers will love on your little ones ages 0 to 3 while you hear a powerful, relevant message in a distraction-free atmosphere. In the case that they need mom or dad to help out, we'll shoot you a message, but we guarantee they'll have a great time!!

Fourth and fifth graders also meet in their own classroom at our morning services (9am and 11am)
to worship and dig into the Bible together.

Family Room (101)

If for some reason you don't feel comfortable checking your kids into their classrooms, please sit near the back of the worship center. That way, if they get fussy you're closer to our Family Room, where both you and your child can breathe, they can move around comfortably, and you can still enjoy the service via live feed.

When planning your visit, make sure to give yourself an extra 5-10 minutes to check your kids in before service starts.
